PROJECT REBUILD

PREVIOUS TENANTS

Vancouver Special

Not failed attempts
at beauty or statement,
instead she poses
questions. How will they fit me
in the photograph?

How will I live from here?

How much skin can I afford?
How to emulate the look
of the elsewhere, to be of.
Grace in the form of a front lawn,
make my face sophisticated.
All those glittering bits of self.
Connoisseurs prefer gloss, a
reflective surface, sinew that reminds
of wood before its felling. Once more,
this time further East, with feeling.
