PROJECT REBUILD

PREVIOUS TENANTS

I Dreamed of a White Picket Fence...

Shackled to suffocating expectations:
the answers to Western
Expectations. These are bones
of our ruins.

How to preserve our values:
they leech on the land
allotted
what we're willing to submit to.

All those glittering bits of glass,
make stucco sophisticated?
Breath of elsewhere,
in the form of a front lawn.

We prefer sheets
reflective surface, wood that reminds
of forests before the felling. Once more,
this time further--with "feeling."
