PROJECT REBUILD

PREVIOUS TENANTS

Love, Situated

We'll paint the walls.

We'll light them with sunset sconces.

We'll dance in the kitchen, Lauryn Hill and Chardonnay.

We'll fill the rooms with the laughter of our loves.

We know what money well spent looks like.

We talk of off-roading strollers, of Montessori schools, of pitter patter feet.

(Look!

Look at him toddle.

—Everyone cheers).

We'll bring home lemon meringue from the cafe down the street.

We'll share it with the neighbours.

We like little love acts and candlelit nights.

We might change the curtains.

We could convert the lower into a studio,

for when our kin comes to visit?

Maybe they'll move in.

(A dream.)
