A Glass House Special

Not frozen attempts at burning or shining.
Unseen viewers and seen me.
How would I show my family to the earth?
Why will we need a door?
Why will we need a window?
all for whom? Who will look through?
Will we get sick of the look
of the outside? How can I make myself less
observed? In the house but not hidden by it.
Part of the front lawn, stuck to the carpet.
Stars that glitter stuck on my ceiling.
Sun shines, screened into scorches.
Hot, clear, sizzling beams, bed, bathroom,
the shower... can see the trees and the city.
Could you live in this glass special? A little clearer?
