PROJECT REBUILD

Vancouver Special

These failed attempts at beauty.

Questions of finance demand generic answers.

Many bodies squeezed into one box so they can make the mortgage.

As little land as possible will be allotted, unless you're a slumlord.

What I can't afford is to have it obvious that I am of elsewhere. How can I make myself less abstracted?

Concrete for a courtyard, stucco for a sanctuary. All that glitters stuck in the surface. I check my reflection in the patio window and it comes back empty.

Wood sliced into beam decimates the forest. Can't see the trees for the city.

Could you move over to make more room?

A little further?
